Inspired by Albert Thibodaux to make calls similar to those made by Henderson-Cecilia call makers. The calls are cigar style calls with hand filed hard rubber reeds
Working or Decorative calls:
All calls are working calls and some are decorated similar to the Allemond style w/ “diamonds” on them.

Biography:
I was born in Cecilia, LA and began hunting ducks while a teenager. Duck hunting has been a part of my life since then. I am a proud parent of two boys Gabriel and Collin and have a beautiful wife, Shellie. I make calls in my
spare time. I made my 1st duck call in December of 1997 on a manual mill while employed at a machine shop. The call was made of Teflon. It wasn’t until 2005 that my interest was sparked again. I met Albert Thibodeaux while hunting and saw an intricately carve duck call hanging on his neck.
This reignited my interest in making duck calls. Mr. Albert advised me of the different types of calls (Louisiana style, Arkansas style, Reelfoot style, Catahoula style and Henderson Cigar style) and pointed me in the direction of call makers in the Henderson, Cecilia, area. It became an obsession to try and duplicate the sound of an old mallard hen using hand filed hard rubber reeds in a Henderson Cigar Style call. I currently make 10-15 calls a year in this time honored tradition. All calls are 100% hand made.
